We all know that here in Africa, with epileptic power supply in most regions, the need for power banks have become very necessary and of paramount importance. What do we really need to consider before getting a power bank?
Let’s check it out.
Your Device Battery Size
What kind of device are you using? Do you really know the battery size of your device? Batteries are measured in the Mah units, and as for me,my infinix hot note pro is a 4000mah device. This means I only have to get a power bank in the region of 6000mah and above, that way I can be sure of at least a full charge. Do not expect that a 2000mah power bank will completely charge a 2000mah battery, because due to heat loss during charge, the power bank will lose current.
Your Phone’s Input Capacity
Majorly, phones come with the 1.0A charging capacity, hence the slowness in charge time. However, recent phones support faster charge due to the higher input current that is inbuilt, from 1.5A-2.0A (5v). So,check to make sure the power bank is capable of giving your phone such juice,to avoid slow charge.
The Power Bank’s Real Capacity
Most power banks in the market are fake, meaning that a typical 30,000mah power bank may turn out to be a 5,200mah power bank. In such cases,no amount of charges will ever make a phone with huge battery to get filled by such power banks.
The Product Manufacturer
The African market is now filled with junk gadgets, so you have to look out for the company or product manufacturer before paying your money. Most unbranded power banks are sure to fail, due to the unknown nature. Get an Injoo, lordbex, xiaomi power bank, and enjoy your product.
There you go,so when next you’re confused about how to go about it,you can contact me on facebook for more information.

Hi Oma. I gave some recommendations in the post already. For further emphasis, most power banks that claim to be above 16000mah are probably going to be fake. You need to check the body of the powerbank to confirm what was written there.
If you’re still confused, you can follow the advice in the post to be able to make a good choice.
